Phuket Emerald Beach Resort

Review Emeral Beach Resort Karon Beach Wonderfully, its ‘Turtles all the way down’, by which I refer to the Emerald Beach Resort’s lovable mascot, ‘Emerald the Turtle’ and the aptly placed sea and water world themed décor that defines, Emerald Beach Resort for what it is; simply a water world delight for all the family and arguably one of the best family resorts in Karon, Phuket. Whilst, turtles progressing to infinity, might represent a philosophical problem, at Emerald Beach Resort you can leave all your worldly issues at the hotel’s voluptuous and palatial entrance, from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, staff not only catered to every one of our needs, they made us feel like family, which is ideal for a resort that pitches itself to the family sector. On arrival we were greeted by Natti, who runs the Top Travel Thailand, hotel tour desk, she was brilliant, baby-sitting, tours on family friendly boats to Phi Phi Islands, local eco-friendly nature tours, transfers you name it, Natti was on it. Then there was Resort management, with a special shout out to Assistant Guest Service Manager Chanida who was absolutely awesome; Chanida arranged for us to have adjoining rooms (connecting doors) so we could spread out the kids in one room us in the other, and when you are traveling with a 12- and 9-year-old this really makes all the difference. Indeed, Chanida was so amazing, that she proactively briefed the Wai Wai Restaurant and resort staff to specifically look after our daughter’s nuanced whims. It doesn’t sound like much, but believe you me, when your 12-year-old suddenly decides she’s hungry at 10 pm at night and wanders off, the peace of mind that comes with knowing a friendly face will cater for your child without question with a hot chocolate and dessert, is golden. Remember what I said about Turtles, Emerald Beach has thought of all possible contingencies when it comes to kids and follows through, without question.

I liked my room as it takes me directly to the swimming pools and there is more than one water play area. It’s really wonderful. I liked Karon. has services and everything close to you, 7/11, a pharmacy, and a beach that you can go to on foot.

Location is perfect. Beach is just across the road, market is literally next door. A 10-15 minute walk to the main area where all the other restaurants and shops are. Room was perfect size, lots of space. Pool access was totally worth the extra money as you can just go in and out and watch your kid play in the pool. Layout of the hotel was well thought of. It’s a long-lengthwise property so they placed different types of pools/water park in the middle of the 2 buildings where the rooms are so even when it was busy, the pools never felt too crowded as there were so many areas to go. Kids Club was being renovated so it was temporarily located at the second floor of the restaurant which I first thought would be a bummer but turned out well for my 4 year old who loved going. She would finish her food and ask to go there and my husband and I would be able to have an hour to ourselves to chat while we finished eating. The staff in the kids club was also amazing even if they didn’t have all the facilities set up there. They entertained my child and made a lot of art. Staff was absolutely lovely and helpful. From reception, waiters to room attendants. We go to Phuket often and this is probably my favorite hotel so far. Definitely go back.

Staff very friendly and helpful all time. The pool clean and kids have great time. Next to hotel many shops and restaurants. Karon Beach one of the best beaches in Phuket. The hotel safe.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism and warm hospitality, always attentive and courteous. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless and stress-free. The facilities were well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was both elegant and relaxing. Our children especially enjoyed the water slide, which made the stay even more memorable for the whole family. The location was also a big plus—just a short walk to Karon Beach and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would be delighted to return in the future.
